One thing I have been kicking myself for was that I did not step inside the 5th Avenue store when I was there last weekend. It was hot, crowded and I was just too darned tired. Apparently, it had a Kusama explosion within its dotted walls. I did however get to see the small collection that is available at my local LV today.
When I first saw pictures of the Lockit with its playful polka dots, I was enthralled. Now that I have seen them in real life, I was sorely disappointed that the dots did not line themselves up on the seams. I know it must be difficult to do that but it's definitely not impossible. And for the price of one of these babies, it better be a work of art.
I LVoe the sunnies and the scarves plus all the petit maroquinerie. I did enjoy the installation on the window though I wish a Yayoi waxen figure was among them.
